About Me

A few years ago in a job interview, I was asked what my favourite subject was at school when I was 10 years old. My answer was ‘the playground.’

When I was younger I did not like school. I was frustrated in the classroom, my parents even moved me to a private school to give attention to my dyslexia. From state schools, to private schools, to international schools I have seen it all, but still I was always looking at the clock ready for the end of the day.

Our biggest strength is usually our biggest weakness and what were my weaknesses when I was younger are now strengths. My adaptability, patience and open-mindedness has made me the person I am today and influences my teaching.

My favourite subject when I was a boy wasn’t Maths or English. It was the playground.
