What is Dom Payne Tutoring?

Dom Payne tutoring offers two types of online learning for students aged 4-14 years old.

The first are individual and small group tuition for students to assit in your child’s academic needs in school. I want to help students that feel unsupported or overseen in this current education system. Students that might need a little boost of confidence for the classroom and to support parents as they navigate through their childs’ education.

The second is our workshops. We cover topics that are not generally in schools’ curriculum. We all leave school stepping into the real world and realising that we were not ready for the things we face. Why were we not taught that when we were at school, we say!

Topics like critcal thinking, What is money & Self Awarenes. The objective of these workshops is to provide a safe space for the students to explore, question, understand every day issues that may affect them now or in the future not to provide definitive answers but to bring awareness and generate more questions and alternatives.

About Me

A few years ago in a job interview, I was asked what my favourite subject was at school when I was 10 years old. My answer was ‘the playground.’

When I was younger I did not like school. I was frustrated in the classroom, my parents even moved me to a private school to give attention to my dyslexia. From state schools, to private schools, to international schools I have seen it all, but still I was always looking at the clock ready for the end of the day.

Our biggest strength is usually our biggest weakness and what were my weakness when I was younger are now strengths. My adaptability, patience and open mindness has made me the person I am today and influences my teaching.

My favourite subject when I was a boy wasn’t Maths or English. It was the playground.
